I’m glad you are considering my practice for help with your issue. I provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families. Since 2009 I have practiced psychotherapy and seen many persons through various challenges. When a person comes to psychotherapy with a specific issue, often the supportive presence and focused feedback of the therapist helps the person resolve the issue. Sometimes a person comes to therapy with a need to change his or her life in important ways, and therapy helps the person see themselves in a new light and context. Significant change and greater well being often results. It is not unusual for a person to begin psychotherapy in a state of confusion, and once in therapy, often clarity becomes possible, along with a feeling that one can go forward and do what is positive, healthy, and necessary.

Depending on your situation and issue, therapy may be resolved in a relatively short time.
Sometimes a person experiences complex difficulty, and may choose to remain in treatment for a time, leaving when they feel more stable, returning down the road if once again life appears to present them with a seemingly insurmountable challenge. I operate a general psychotherapy practice, working with a wide variety of clients and issues. Sometimes the issues are “simple.” Sometimes the issues are “complex.” Helping you reach your therapy goals is of utmost importance to me. I use a variety of approaches involving the heart and mind and specific to your therapy needs. I am proud to maintain a therapy office where people from all cultures and backgrounds feel welcome.
